The University Library System is now on Instagram

The Unimore Library System (Sistema Bibliotecario di Ateneo - SBA) lands on social media with the official Instagram profile “@sba_unimore”. The purpose is to always be with the students of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, in order to provide them with real-time information on the services offered, the progressive reopenings and the organised initiatives, through one of the channels the youngest like most. To share your photos taken at the Unimore libraries, you may use the hashtags #bibliotecheunimore #sbaunimore.

“This new channel – Ms. Maria Raffaella Ingrosso, Head Director of the University Library System remarks - will be for us a way to promote Unimore libraries, both hardcopy and digital collections, the bibliographic research tools, the face-to-face and remote services, by providing real-time information on the news, the opening times, the initiatives, and trying to best encourage a conversation with students and professionals at Unimore”.

The University Library System of Modena Reggio Emilia includes the library "Sebastiano Brusco (www.biblioeconomia.unimore.it), the Law Library (www.bugiuridica.unimore.it), the Humanities Library (www.biblioumanistica.unimore.it), the Interdepartmental Scientific Library (BSI - Biblioteca Scientifica Interdipartimentale) (www.bsi.unimore.it), the Medical Library (www.bibmed.unimore.it), the Technological and Scientific University Library of the Enzo Ferrari Department of Engineering (www.biblioingegneria.unimore.it), and the Interdepartmental Library of Reggio Emilia (www.biblioreggio.unimore.it).

In the last few days, most Unimore Libraries have reopened their reading rooms, with socially distanced seats, (the BSI, the Medical Library, the Law Library, the Humanities Library, and the Interdepartmental Library of Reggio Emilia), for a total of 400 seats currently available. The Engineering Library is also reopening today, Monday 8 February, and the Economics Library is scheduled to reopen in a few days.

Following the same procedure of July 2020, access to the rooms is subject to the reservation of a seat through the portal https://www.bibliomo.it/ and the self-declaration form must be handed over on first access. Face masks shall always be worn in the library, and all safety rules must be observed.
