Scholarship AAE for Women In Memory of Antonia Terzi and Valeria Giannotta Awarded

On the occasion of International Womens Day, the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola hosted the award ceremony for the scholarship AAE for Women In Memory of Antonia Terzi and Valeria Giannotta. The initiative is promoted by ECO Certificazioni S.p.A. in collaboration with Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia and MUNER - Motor Valley University of Emilia-Romagna.
Now in its fifth edition (academic year 2025/2026), the award was presented to Isabella Giunta, a student enrolled in the International Masters Degree in Advanced Automotive Engineering, within the framework of the MUNER - Motor Valley University of Emilia-Romagna programme.
The scholarship, with a total value of 5,000, is intended to support and promote equal opportunities, encouraging young women to pursue academic pathways and professional careers in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
The ceremony took place during the fourth edition of WOW Women Motor Women Opening Ways, an event dedicated to promoting womens empowerment in motorsport and technical-scientific disciplines, which attracted more than one thousand participants, including students, enthusiasts and families.
The initiative also forms part of the activities promoted by the Gender and Diversity Empowerment Committee of Motor Valley University of Emilia-Romagna, established in 2023 with the aim of helping reduce the gender gap in education and professional careers in the automotive and engineering sectors .
The scholarship is funded by ECO Certificazioni European Certifying Organization S.p.A., an accredited conformity assessment body providing certification, inspection and training services in the fields of quality, safety and automotive .
