Online the February issue of FocusUnimore dedicated to FAR
The February issue of FocusUnimore is entirely dedicated to the world of Research and the Funds that Unimore makes available to support it.
The FAR - University Funds for Research is Unimore's main tool for strengthening and consolidating its character as a research university, positioning it as a relevant player not only locally, but also on the national and international scene.
The University's Strategic Plan has defined, also for this year, an increase in the share of the budget earmarked for research funding, which has risen over the last 6 years from 1,500,000€ in 2020 to 3,000,000€ in 2025.
In addition to the FAR, whose projects funded for 2024 are reported in the Unimore magazine, a three-year agreement with the Modena Foundation (FOMO) was renewed last year to increase the resources dedicated to research at Unimore.
It is clear, therefore, that over the years, Unimore has implemented various initiatives and has progressively adapted them to respond to the feedback and needs of researchers who express the demands of the local area and the national system, which increasingly interacts internationally through the studies of its universities.
The February issue, which opens with an editorial by Prof. Paolo Pavan, University Delegate Scientific Research, contains articles covering topics ranging from projects in the Macro area of Physical, Chemical, and Engineering Sciences, to Social and Human Sciences, Life Sciences, as well as projects related to automotive or nanomedicine.
