Individual labour rights as human rights”: dialogue with Professor Elena Sychenko, Visiting Professor at the Law Department
Professor Elena Sychenko is a new Visiting Professor at the Law Department who will conduct teaching activities and important research projects over the next three months. She will hold several seminars dedicated to the protection of workers’ rights, in particular she will teach International Labour Law and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Compliance at Unimore. Graduated cum laude in Law in 2004 at the University of St. Petersburg, after a PhD in Labour Law at the University of Catania she was Visiting Professor at several universities in various parts of the world. Her areas of research include business and human rights, human rights instruments for the protection of workers’ rights, employee dignity, and protection from harassment. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals in Russian, English, French and Italian. These pages report her interesting answers to some of our questions.
